Sebastopol Gallery welcomes award-winning Lin Max as a special guest during Bibliophoria. Lin is a multi-media artist who loves creating one of a kind artist books, sculptural pieces designed in various book structures, including accordion, stick-bound, and carousel books. Each book is hand made, often using traditional binding methods (Coptic or Belgian, for example). Many of her books feature hand stitching with waxed linen thread as a design element; others are machine stitched. All reflect a love of repetition, multiples, and visual density. Her show runs through August 6. go
