JUNE 1 ~ Hand-Made Art Books. Sonoma County Book Arts Guild exhibit opens at Sebastopol Library in the display case. Through June 19. And also June 27 to July 30. go

JUNE 4 ~ A Birthday Party! ~ Join in celebrating Copperfield’s 30th Anniversary of the bookstore opening at their original Main Street Sebastopol location. A party to kick-off Bibliophoria. JUNE 18 ~ Saturday Morning Concert with music and songplay for children, parents and grandparents. Featuring Dennis Hysom and songs from “Wooleycat’s Musical Theater” book, CD and mobile apps. At Sebastopol Center for the Arts. 10 am. Also July 16. $5 per person/$4 SCA members. go

JUNE 18 ~ Word Temple Poetry Series broadcast on KRCB. Featuring Robin Ekiss and Keith Ekiss, the reading is hosted by Katherine Hastings and takes place at Sebastopol Center for the Arts at 7 pm. go Word Temple

JUNE 18 & 19 ~ Sculpture Jam 2011 ~ A weekend of public art and artist participation. At the Sebastopol Plaza, Petaluma Avenue and McKinley Avenue. Come see the Book Bench! Father’s Day weekend, 10 AM to 3 PM. go

JUNE 20 ~ Exhibit by Patrick Reagh, internationally renown letterpress printer, opens in the display case of the Sebastopol Library. Through June 25. Plus a one-day show in the Forum Room on June 25. Conversation with Pat 11 am to noon. go

JUNE 22 ~ KRCB Reader’s Theater ~ Short Writing Contest for Teens. Winning writing is read on the radio.  Submit a short story, essay or other work of prose beginning with “Books are.” Deadline May 17. Contest details.

JUNE 23 ~ Let’s Talk about Artists Books ~ A panel with artists and a gallery owner in tandem with Bibliophoria II: National Juried Exhibition. Sebastopol Center for the Arts. 7 pm. $5 members, $7 non-members. go

JUNE 25 ~ Saturday Morning Walk in Sebastopol. Meet at the Plaza. Includes a stop at Iota Press. 9 a.m. to noon. go
