No-stitch Star Book ~ Workshop with Printmaking Techniques

Be dazzled by creative possibilities in this innovative book arts workshop led by Dorit Elisha, mixed media artist.
Make a galaxy of prints for the pages of your own star book. Learn printmaking techniques—collagraphy, block printing, rubber stamps—and combine them in imaginative ways. Learn the technique for glueing, not sewing, your printed pages for a beautifully crafted star book.
Fee $105 SCA members, $110 nonmembers. Includes most materials needed such as an assortment of papers, block printing inks, scratch boards, rubber stamp making supplies, and the use of Plexiglas plates, squeegees and screens.
Please bring a rubber brayer, pair of scissors, glue stick, paper towels, and your own lunch. Aprons and disposable gloves are optional.
The class is 6.5 hours long and includes ½ hour for lunch.
